Type C license plates are special registration numbers used for the approval of individually imported vehicles in Slovakia. They allow operation on public roads for the purpose of completing necessary procedures such as originality checks, technical and emission inspections, or repairs before final registration. These plates are intended for vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons and their use is limited to the territory of the Slovak Republic.
